Gabriele Batistuta ran back to his position shaking his head. After a defensive mix-up in Marlin FC's zone, Gabriele Batistuta stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Juan Carlos Alvarez came out of the goal and Gabriele Batistuta tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Marlin FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gabriele Batistuta came free, but Juan Carlos Alvarez reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Linus Fredriksson in the 11th minute of play. Marlin FC's Juan Carlos Alvarez played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gabriele Batistuta in the 14th minute of play. Juan Carlos Alvarez was out of position in the 15 minute of play, and Caetano Linhares capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Caetano Linhares really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Gabriele Batistuta could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Juan Carlos Alvarez made a huge save. In the 29th minute, Menchu FC's Gabriele Batistuta dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-0. Camilo Salvidor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yin Yang in the 33rd minute of play. 35 minutes into the game, one of Menchu FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Menchu FC's Camilo Salvidor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeronimo Sotil in the 42nd minute of play.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Linus Fredriksson stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 51st minute, Yin Yang ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Camilo Salvidor was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Caetano Linhares in the 60th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Juan Carlos Alvarez prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Menchu FC's Caetano Linhares in the 60th minute got a chance for a shot 60th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Marlin FC's goalie prevented a goal. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybek Orcun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 65 minutes into the match, Menchu FC's goal looked a bit too open when Giovanni Rana came free, but Camilo Salvidor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Marlin FC made a substitution. Melchor Oidor replaced Ismael Iglesias. Marlin FC's Reynaldo Duarte was substituted for Boleslaw Gecionis. Menchu FC made a substitution. Gaston Firmo replaced Uriel Gorri. Caetano Linhares hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Marlin FC's Aybek Orcun shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 73rd minute of play. The shot was stopped by Camilo Salvidor but with some difficulty. The audience thought a goal was coming when Giovanni Rana got free with Camilo Salvidor in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Giovanni Rana kicked a quick shot right in front of the goal in the 77thth minute. Though ot was a great shot Menchu FC's keeper Camilo Salvidor was sill able to block leaving the score board unchanged. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Linus Fredriksson in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Camilo Salvidor saved Menchu FC from getting behind. With his leg Camilo Salvidor managed to avoid a goal in the 78thth minute, when Marlin FC's Linus Fredriksson fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Camilo Salvidor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Yin Yang in the 79th minute. Camilo Salvidor took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aybek Orcun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 90 played minutes Linus Fredriksson rounded Menchu FC's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 2-3. The crowd rose to their feet as Yin Yang kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Camilo Salvidor. That made the score 2-4 in the 94 minute of play. The Marlin FC players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
