After 29 played minutes MAFFIAN got a freekick which was hit by Kent Hultman. In the 39th match minute, KS Olimpia Warszawa was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Benedykt Lichucki to maneuver through the defense. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Enegren to make the kick off. In the 55th minute Mark Widberg shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Tytus Frenzel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 57 minutes into the match, KS Olimpia Warszawa's goalkeeper Tytus Frenzel had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Stig Enegren. Tytus Frenzel made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Stig Enegren sent off a good shot on target. KS Olimpia Warszawa's Tytus Frenzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mark Widberg in the 66th minute of play. Tytus Frenzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Enegren in the 67th minute of play. When the match had gone on for 69 minutes, Hugo Nyman took a quick shot and it went in 0-2 without a chance for Tytus Frenzel to make any attempt to save it. Ali Wieczorek hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. In the 85th minute of the match, Mark Widberg tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Tytus Frenzel saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Tytus Frenzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mark Widberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. MAFFIAN played a much better game than KS Olimpia Warszawa and deserved their victory. The KS Olimpia Warszawa players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
