Joaquim de Barros started the match with the kick off. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save VB-Team from getting a goal against them. Armindo Salgado made an important save on a dangerous shot by 许明卫 in the 7th minute. In the 10th minute of the match Pan FC got a corner. VB-Team's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Esteve Cordarrel ran over to the corner to take the kick. Pan FC's Esteve Cordarrel was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Armindo Salgado in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. If 许明卫 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 16 minutes into the match, Pan FC's goal looked a bit too open when Luís Caeiro came free, but Sebastian Quirce reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Luís Caeiro struck a weak shot in the 25th minute. Sebastian Quirce didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for VB-Team. In the 28th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by 许明卫. After having played for 34 minutes, Gervásio Severiano managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. VB-Team's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gervásio Severiano was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 41st minute the ball was on its way in behind VB-Team's goalkeeper Armindo Salgado, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from 许明卫 in the 44th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Arnaldo Urtzi made a kick off. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 63rd minute of play forced Pan FC's goalkeeper Sebastian Quirce to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 63 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Luís Caeiro nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Sebastian Quirce made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-1. Armindo Salgado took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Arnaldo Urtzi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 75 minutes in the game, Arnaldo Urtzi dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. In the 78th minute Joaquim de Barros shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Quirce saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Joaquim de Barros could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 80th minute of the match, but Sebastian Quirce made a huge save. Joaquim de Barros sent away a hard shot on goal in the 83rd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Arnaldo Urtzi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Arnaldo Urtzi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-1. In the 93rd minute, Arnaldo Urtzi got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Yasen Skenderski hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Sandro Leitão took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 95th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Sebastian Quirce. Pan FC's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. The VB-Team fans' excitement grew in the 98th match minute when VB-Team's Joaquim de Barros looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Pan FC's fans were exulted and cheered after their team won in a match that could easily have gone the other way.
