Jamar Orlinsky's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Ruperto Rainerio firmly grabbed it by the left post. Dario Wilhelm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dario Hussain in the 17th minute of play. In the 19th minute Gaafar Carrillo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dario Wilhelm saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ruperto Rainerio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Amir Lee in the 27th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hernán Leandro in the 29th minute of play forced Cascade Park West's goalkeeper Dario Wilhelm to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Dario Wilhelm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gaafar Carrillo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cascade Park West's Dario Wilhelm played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Hernán Leandro in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Leon Platense were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Dario Hussain to strike the kick off in the second half. Dario Wilhelm made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Hernán Leandro sent off a good shot on target. Amir Lee blasted a shot towards the goal in the 56th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Ruperto Rainerio having to make a save. In the 58th minute of the match, Hernán Leandro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Dario Wilhelm saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amir Lee in the 59th minute of play. 62 minutes into the match, Amir Lee had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Ruperto Rainerio. Leon Platense's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Amir Lee was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Rolland Hobbs in the 66th minute of play forced Leon Platense's goalkeeper Ruperto Rainerio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 67 minutes Leon Platense's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Barlas Aydın who took care of the corner kick. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Humberto Lange got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. In the 77th minute, Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-2. Dario Wilhelm made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dario Hussain in the 81st minute. If Allen Dalton had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 82nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 84 minutes into the match, Cascade Park West's goal looked a bit too open when Hernán Leandro came free, but Dario Wilhelm reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 85th minute Wang Sha Qian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Piotr Brzakala was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 90 minutes into the match. 89 minutes into the game, one of Cascade Park West:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Edgar Ahlgren made in the 95th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Gaafar Carrillo immediately put the ball in play. The supporters of Leon Platense booed when Cascade Park West was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Wang Sha Qian didn't get a good kick on the ball.
