The audience thought a goal was coming when Brad Ridding got free with Ruperto Rainerio in the 24th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 27th minute of the match, managed to save Leon Platense from getting a goal against them. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

In the 53rd minute Lucjan Chmielecki shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ruperto Rainerio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tobiasz Niedzwiecki came out of the goal in the 54th minute to try and stop a shot by Leon Platense's Gonzalo Adrio. But to his dismay, Gonzalo Adrio quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Leon Platense's Ruperto Rainerio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damazy Jakisz in the 58th minute of play. MATRIX TEAM's Tobiasz Niedzwiecki played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gaafar Carrillo in the 60th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Leon Platense's Hernán Leandro got a free kick in the 89th minute. The Leon Platense supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Leon Platense would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
