Playa Malvín's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Luís Caeiro was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. In the 7th minute the ball was on its way in behind Playa Malvín's goalkeeper Nils Elmhuus, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Gong Qi Fan's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Armindo Salgado was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. A collision led to VB-Team getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. César Sampaio hit a great ball. Stelian Murgu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Gong Qi Fan came up free with the goalie in the 17th minute, the Playa Malvín fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Gong Qi Fan couldn't finish the play. If Stelian Murgu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 22 minutes into the game, Gong Qi Fan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-1. Armindo Salgado was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 28 minutes into the match, Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Armindo Salgado narrowly saved just below the crossbar. In the 30th minute of the game Alisson De Gasperi made a throw-in which Luís Caeiro played forward. The corner first didn't look so dangerous but when Gamus Rocha got the ball he succeeded in some way to get through the defenders to deliver a very hard score. Result 1-2. 35 minutes into the match. In the 40th minute, Gervásio Severiano made a precise shot to the right of Nils Elmhuus. Playa Malvín's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-2. 43 minutes into the match, Gong Qi Fan had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armindo Salgado. VB-Team's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gong Qi Fan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. Disappointed in the 2-3 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Gong Qi Fan was the one to do the kick off. Nils Elmhuus made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 53rd minute of play. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan. But to his dismay, Gong Qi Fan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-5. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gong Qi Fan in the 64th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Armindo Salgado saved VB-Team from getting behind. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gong Qi Fan, who was totally free with the ball in the 65th minute. After some careless play in the VB-Team defense, Quinto Ampudia kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. The VB-Team fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Armindo Salgado should have stopped the shot. Nils Elmhuus showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Traian Hăvârneanu in the 74th minute of the match. Playa Malvín's Constantijn De Hond quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Alisson De Gasperi, made in the 78th minute of the game. César Sampaio lost his temper 79 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. In the 80th match minute, VB-Team was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by César Sampaio to maneuver through the defense. With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Stelian Murgu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Armindo Salgado made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Quinto Ampudia in the 83rd minute of play. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Sandu Mândrilă stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal and Sandu Mândrilă tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 91 minutes, the score became 2-8 when Quinto Ampudia sped through VB-Team's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Armindo Salgado. Thanks to some nice moves Sandu Mândrilă could shoot a difficult shot in the 95th minute, which Armindo Salgado however easily saved by the left post. Playa Malvín's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
