Spectators: 45 (Terracing: 35, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) 8 minutes into the game, Isidro Gines cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-1. Máximo Correia was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Isaias Jakue, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Sporting Buceo's zone, Isidro Gines stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Máximo Correia came out of the goal and Isidro Gines tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Errecaborda AFC's Edmond Verdun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isaias Jakue in the 22nd minute of play. In the 24thth minute of the game Pastor Ado who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Sporting Buceo's Rainier Gregoire was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmond Verdun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maureen Franco, who was totally free with the ball in the 31st minute. In the 33rd minute Sporting Buceo were awarded a corner. Rainier Gregoire went to the cornerflag to take it. Isaias Jakue received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Edmond Verdun tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Isaias Jakue's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Edmond Verdun read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Prospero Jerardo notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Sporting Buceo's Máximo Correia. Máximo Correia was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Maureen Franco stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Edmond Verdun made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isaias Jakue in the 59th minute of play. In the 61st minute, Isaias Jakue got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Máximo Correia made a fantastic save in the 62nd minute, when Isidro Gines sent off a good shot on target. When Pastor Ado came up free with the goalie in the 64th minute, the Errecaborda AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pastor Ado couldn't finish the play. Sporting Buceo's Yao Yan Sen was substituted for Rainier Gregoire. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isidro Gines in the 77th minute of play forced Sporting Buceo's goalkeeper Máximo Correia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Máximo Correia was out of position in the 88 minute of play, and Victorino Sandalio capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Victorino Sandalio really showed his touch with that goal: 0-4. Errecaborda AFC made a substitution. Rogelio Jakes replaced Aírton Urbano. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Errecaborda AFC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
