If Claudiu Răducanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Edmond Verdun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Claudiu Răducanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 26th minute. In the 46th minute, Aírton Urbano hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-4.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Victorino Sandalio stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MARAZZINO's Dacian Zburliş was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Edmond Verdun in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudiu Răducanu in the 69th minute of play forced Errecaborda AFC's goalkeeper Edmond Verdun to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudiu Răducanu took the ball and in the 73 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Edmond Verdun. Edmond Verdun dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-6. In the 83rd minute, Claudiu Răducanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edmond Verdun was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-8. MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mauro Rameriz in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, Errecaborda AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Claudiu Răducanu came free, but Edmond Verdun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu got a good chance for a goal in the 89th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched MARAZZINO eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
