To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match clock showed 46 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Gong Qi Fan sped through Paso FC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mira Pene. The Paso FC players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Playa Malvín were winning 0-1.

The wind increased when Oktay Eğriöz made the kick off in the second half. 51 minutes into the game, Taam 董卓 was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Paso FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Playa Malvín the free kick. Taam 董卓 kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Playa Malvín's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Stelian Murgu in the 62nd minute. After 64 minutes of play, Playa Malvín's Gong Qi Fan made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Paso FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Denis Rivas was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Denis Rivas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Nils Elmhuus read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. After 88 minutes Playa Malvín's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Haroldo Ayala who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Haroldo Ayala almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Playa Malvín's Nils Elmhuus did a great save. Mira Pene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Quinto Ampudia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Paso FC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Lambe Verga hit a great ball. When the match was over Playa Malvín could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Paso FC throughout the match.
