To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Joaquim de Barros got free with Pankracy Glogowski in the 21st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Joaquim de Barros in the 23rd minute of the match. Joaquim de Barros fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Pankracy Glogowski having to interfere. One of Club Atlético Atlanta:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of VB-Team:s goal. After 37 minutes Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski managed, with a little bit of luck, save Luís Caeiro's penalty, on his right side after a tricky shot. When the match had gone on for 37 minutes, Luís Caeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Pankracy Glogowski to make any attempt to save it. Pankracy Glogowski showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 47th minute of the match. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Traian Hăvârneanu in the 81st minute of play forced Club Atlético Atlanta's goalkeeper Pankracy Glogowski to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 84 minutes into the game, VB-Team's Traian Hăvârneanu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Pankracy Glogowski made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. Armindo Salgado was out of position in the 91 minute of play, and Anselmo Nevada capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Anselmo Nevada really showed his touch with that goal: 2-1. After 94 played minutes Club Atlético Atlanta got a freekick which was hit by Benigno Abreu. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The VB-Team fans cheered their team off the field, for while Club Atlético Atlanta had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
