After 5 played minutes Paso FC got a freekick which was hit by Pete Violento. 7 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Mira Pene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Shao Kun Yuan fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored VB-Team's protests and gave Shao Kun Yuan a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, VB-Team's Shao Kun Yuan got a free kick in the 8th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luís Caeiro in the 16th minute of play forced Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Luís Caeiro in the 16th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mira Pene prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 17 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gervásio Severiano. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Paso FC's Oktay Eğriöz. But to his dismay, Oktay Eğriöz quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. 23 minutes into the match, Oktay Eğriöz notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of VB-Team's Armindo Salgado. Armindo Salgado was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Fabio Fornos received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Armindo Salgado tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 34 minutes, Luís Caeiro took a quick shot and it went in 1-2 without a chance for Mira Pene to make any attempt to save it. 36 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goalkeeper Mira Pene had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Joaquim de Barros. VB-Team's Armindo Salgado played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Oktay Eğriöz in the 38th minute of play. In the 44th minute, Oktay Eğriöz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Joaquim de Barros stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Oktay Eğriöz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Armindo Salgado having to interfere. Mira Pene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Shao Kun Yuan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Mira Pene showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Luís Caeiro in the 65th minute of the match. 68 minutes into the match, Paso FC's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim de Barros came free, but Mira Pene reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The attack was good, but when Joaquim de Barros in the 69th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Armindo Salgado showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Denis Rivas, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. After a defensive mix-up in VB-Team's zone, Denis Rivas stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Armindo Salgado came out of the goal and Denis Rivas tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a little luck, VB-Team's Armindo Salgado got control of the ball when Denis Rivas tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 83rd minute Paso FC were awarded a corner. Haroldo Ayala went to the cornerflag to take it. Mira Pene took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Traian Hăvârneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chants of Paso FC echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as VB-Team had held the ball for most of the match.
