When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Cristóvão Abrantes took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Marcos Cotilla to make any attempt to save it. The supporters of MAREA-AZUL booed when Panama was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Abraham Alguacil didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 31st minute by Sebastián Dargham got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Nahuel Araoz hit a great freekick 34 minutes into the match. In the 34th minute of the match Abraham Alguacil shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Loco Fournier showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sebastián Dargham could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Marcos Cotilla made a huge save. In the 43rd minute Cristóvão Abrantes shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cotilla saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 46th minute, Sebastián Dargham ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Marcos Cotilla was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Velasco Dayson was the one to do the kick off. The MAREA-AZUL fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. MAREA-AZUL fully deserved thier win.
