In the 7th match minute, Monks in Robes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Malcolm Mattsson to maneuver through the defense. Monks in Robes's Axel Ree got a good chance for a goal in the 12th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Kristen Gulskov made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bartolo Otsoa in the 14th minute. In the 14th minute, EL FORTIN's Bartolo Otsoa ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kristen Gulskov. Kristen Gulskov yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. The supporters of EL FORTIN booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kris Garmer didn't get a good kick on the ball. Armando Fero stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Axel Ree's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. After 37 minutes EL FORTIN's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Fidel Havier who took care of the corner kick. Augustin Barth's late challenge caught a EL FORTIN's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Augustin Barth helped the player get up and apologised. A hard shot 40 in the game by Ernesto Chinto from a close distance when the talented Kristen Gulskov managed to make a qualified save. Monks in Robes's players were relieved. With his leg Kristen Gulskov managed to avoid a goal in the 43rdth minute, when EL FORTIN's Ernesto Chinto fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Axel Ree might have been able to make a better finish in the 47th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Armando Fero. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Axel Ree ran back to his position shaking his head. EL FORTIN's Armando Fero played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Axel Ree in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The wind increased when Ernesto Chinto made the kick off in the second half. Armando Fero made an important save on a dangerous shot by Axel Ree in the 51st minute. EL FORTIN's Armando Fero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save EL FORTIN from getting a goal against them. Kristen Gulskov showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dida Mesquita in the 62nd minute of the match. Mauro Blasco kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. 72 minutes had been played when some careless play by EL FORTIN's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Fidel Havier was slow to take the kick. During this time Monks in Robes's players had a chance to rest. Fidel Havier made a great header on Monks in Robes's corner, it was just that EL FORTIN's Armando Fero managed to reach the ball for a save. After some careless play in the Monks in Robes defense, Bartolo Otsoa kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Kristen Gulskov. The Monks in Robes fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Kristen Gulskov should have stopped the shot. Axel Ree recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 80 minutes into the match, EL FORTIN's goalkeeper Armando Fero had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Axel Ree. In the 82ndth minute of the game Albinus Alking who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but EL FORTIN's Armando Fero was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 92 minutes into the match, Axel Ree had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Armando Fero. EL FORTIN's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Axel Ree was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Mauro Blasco made in the 95th minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by Monks in Robes's Malcolm Mattsson. EL FORTIN walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
