Spectators: 40 (Terracing: 31, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) Venezuela's Jonathan Venegas managed, thanks to a brazen rush, stole the ball on a throw-in made by Edu da Cunha in the 6 minute of the game. Venezuela's Jonathan Ferrant played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gilberto Bueno in the 8th minute of play. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bueno in the 11th minute of play. After 16 played minutes Venezuela got a freekick which was hit by Guillermo Mariano. Cleiton Urbano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 19th minute. Jonathan Ferrant tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jose Correa's late challenge caught a Asilo do Teco's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jose Correa helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Jose Correa got a free kick in the 20th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 21st minute, Cleiton Urbano managed to get in a good position for a shot. Asilo do Teco's supporters rose to their feet, but Cleiton Urbano was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jonathan Ferrant breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Cleiton Urbano had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 23rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Jonathan Ferrant managed to avoid a goal in the 27thth minute, when Asilo do Teco's Altan Miro fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. When Tomas Illescas came up free with the goalie in the 28th minute, the Venezuela fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Tomas Illescas couldn't finish the play. When the match had gone on for 32 minutes, Altan Miro took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Jonathan Ferrant to make any attempt to save it. Camilo Gaos hit a great freekick 44 minutes into the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Altan Miro got free with Jonathan Ferrant in the 44th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.

Jonathan Ferrant showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Altan Miro, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. When Camilo Gaos fell near the penalty area in the 52nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Venezuela's protests and gave Camilo Gaos a yellow card for diving instead. Jonathan Ferrant made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gilberto Bueno in the 54th minute of play. A collision led to Asilo do Teco getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Gražvydas Gylys hit a great ball. Venezuela's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Tomas Illescas in the 62nd minute. The corner ended in Tomas Illescas almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Asilo do Teco's Faustão Cosme did a great save. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Guillermo Mariano got a free kick in the 63rd minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Altan Miro in the 67th minute of play forced Venezuela's goalkeeper Jonathan Ferrant to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 69th minute, Cleiton Urbano got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Altan Miro might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jonathan Ferrant. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Venezuela's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gilberto Bueno was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-0. Altan Miro's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Jonathan Ferrant read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 82nd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Venezuela's Patricio Costa got a free kick in the 94th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Asilo do Teco had won after a very even match.
