The audience was convinced that Emanuel Garoa's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but 王延洲 was relentless in the 14th minute of the game. 王延洲 showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Anacleto Lauro, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. If Emanuel Garoa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Emanuel Garoa came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the La Scaloneta fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuel Garoa couldn't finish the play. In the 45th minute, Emanuel Garoa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
