After some careless play in the La Scaloneta defense, Leonides Etxekopar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Emiliano Veto. The La Scaloneta fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Emiliano Veto should have stopped the shot. In the 56th minute Emanuel Garoa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Astudillo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Aurelio Astudillo didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emanuel Garoa went, in the 86th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-6 was the resulting score. Filomeno Sidro struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Aurelio Astudillo didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Scaloneta. When the final whistle sounded San Lorenzo 11 left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than La Scaloneta.
