Momentum FC's Fabian Benvido proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 4th minute of the match, managed to save Momentum FC from getting a goal against them. In the 5th minute, Arni Urb hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Pretoria Gostyń's zone, Ismael Furlan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tomasz Dziedelonis came out of the goal and Ismael Furlan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Momentum FC's Gustavo Schelokov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Tytus Wietrzychowski, made in the 14th minute of the game. Beniamin Makarewicz made in the 20th minute of the game a quick throw-in and Napoleon Kalinowski immediately put the ball in play. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Furlan in the 22nd minute of the match. Luís Fábio Pontes charged in rather forcefully in the 26th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Luís Fábio Pontes the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Pretoria Gostyń booed when Momentum FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Luís Fábio Pontes didn't get a good kick on the ball. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ismael Furlan in the 29th minute of the match. After 31 minutes, Nico Fanta made it 0-2 with a short kick to the right side. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. 34 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Ismael Furlan came free, but Tomasz Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tomasz Dziedelonis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Nico Fanta went, in the 37th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-3 was the resulting score. 41 minutes into the game, Momentum FC's Ismael Furlan nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Tomasz Dziedelonis made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-4. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nico Fanta in the 45th minute of play. Disappointed in the 0-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Lech Pietrasz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ismael Furlan, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ismael Furlan got free with Tomasz Dziedelonis in the 60th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 61st match minute, Pretoria Gostyń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Tytus Wietrzychowski to maneuver through the defense. After 67 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Pretoria Gostyń! Pretoria Gostyń:s Tomasz Dziedelonis showed great skill when he stopped Bruno Viviano:s penalty. After some careless play in the Pretoria Gostyń defense, Bruno Viviano kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Tomasz Dziedelonis. The Pretoria Gostyń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Tomasz Dziedelonis should have stopped the shot. Ismael Furlan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Napoleon Kalinowski scored 1-5 in the 81st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fabian Benvido, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. When Nico Fanta fell near the penalty area in the 87th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Momentum FC's protests and gave Nico Fanta a yellow card for diving instead. In the 87th match minute, Momentum FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nico Fanta to maneuver through the defense. Napoleon Kalinowski's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fabian Benvido read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 91st minute of play. Tomasz Dziedelonis stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ismael Furlan's shot from short distance in the 96th minute. 97 minutes into the match, Pretoria Gostyń's goal looked a bit too open when Nico Fanta came free, but Tomasz Dziedelonis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Momentum FC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
