San Lorenzo 11's supporters crossed their fingers, but Claudio Bucciarelli was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute, Delmar Oskitz left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The San Lorenzo 11 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 24th minute of play forced Stronghold S.A's goalkeeper Federico Abascal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Claudio Bucciarelli took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Federico Abascal. Federico Abascal dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-5. After the first half San Lorenzo 11 were leading 0-5. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Remigio Urdaspal made the kick off in the second half. If Edwin 雷远 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 58 played minutes Stronghold S.A got a freekick which was hit by Horacio Xabier. The supporters of San Lorenzo 11 booed when Stronghold S.A was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edwin 雷远 didn't get a good kick on the ball. San Lorenzo 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Federico Abascal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 92nd minute, Delmar Oskitz got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Remigio Urdaspal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match.
