Cheeky Nuts United's Finn Espe got a good chance for a goal in the 17th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Isak Tøllefsen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Bark in the 19th minute of the match. The supporters of Ekedalen SK booed when Cheeky Nuts United was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Armas Heinola didn't get a good kick on the ball. Per Bröms took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alf Austad, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Sten Hagberg in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isak Tøllefsen prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ekedalen SK's Robert Kalfhage was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Isak Tøllefsen in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Finn Espe got free with Per Bröms in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Stig Rönn to make the kick off. With a little luck, Cheeky Nuts United's Isak Tøllefsen got control of the ball when Stig Rönn tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Armas Heinola in the 97th minute of play forced Ekedalen SK's goalkeeper Per Bröms to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. For all the effort they put into the match, the Ekedalen SK players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for Cheeky Nuts United.
