The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Tomasz Dziedelonis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Claudio Bucciarelli in the 3rd minute. When the match clock showed 4 minutes, the score became 1-0 when Claudio Bucciarelli sped through Pretoria Gostyń's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Tomasz Dziedelonis. If Lech Pietrasz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 11th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 14 minutes of play, San Lorenzo 11's Claudio Bucciarelli made it 3-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Tomasz Dziedelonis was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 21st match minute, San Lorenzo 11 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Delmar Oskitz to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Claudio Bucciarelli got free with Tomasz Dziedelonis in the 27th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 32ndth minute of the game Claudio Bucciarelli who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Claudio Bucciarellis short, quick shot in the 36thth minute got Tomasz Dziedelonis to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Delmar Oskitz kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. In the 38th minute the ball was on its way in behind San Lorenzo 11's goalkeeper Aurelio Astudillo, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aurelio Astudillo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Napoleon Kalinowski in the 40th minute of the match. Matias Chepe took the ball and in the 41 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Tomasz Dziedelonis. Tomasz Dziedelonis dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 44th minute of the match, managed to save Pretoria Gostyń from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Pretoria Gostyń's Tomasz Dziedelonis got control of the ball when Matias Chepe tried to sneak it across the goal line.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudio Bucciarelli was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Matias Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Pretoria Gostyń's supporters rose to their feet, but Lech Pietrasz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Astudillo breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tomasz Dziedelonis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Claudio Bucciarelli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 66 minutes had been played when some careless play by Pretoria Gostyń's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Ambrosio Mendiko was slow to take the kick. During this time San Lorenzo 11's players had a chance to rest. A nice corner shot did that Ambrosio Mendiko got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Tomasz Dziedelonis quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Matias Chepe managed to get in a good position for a shot. San Lorenzo 11's supporters rose to their feet, but Matias Chepe was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Tomasz Dziedelonis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Pretoria Gostyń's Beniamin Makarewicz got a free kick in the 78th minute. In the 79th minute, Delmar Oskitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 played minutes San Lorenzo 11 got a freekick which was hit by Gerardo Rainerio. After a rather tough play, San Lorenzo 11's Leonides Etxekopar got a free kick in the 88th minute. Tomasz Dziedelonis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Claudio Bucciarelli in the 90th minute of the match. For all the effort they put into the match, the Pretoria Gostyń players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for San Lorenzo 11.
