La Scaloneta's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Nicanor Ramos hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. In the 7th minute of the match Arne Tham shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Javier Rocio showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Benito Cutberto in the 9th minute of play forced Pauliström's goalkeeper Malcolm Wall to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Birger Klint took the ball and in the 10 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Javier Rocio. Javier Rocio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Pauliström's Emanuel Blixt got a good chance for a goal in the 13th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Benito Cutberto's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 17thth minute, Malcolm Wall skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After a rather tough play, La Scaloneta's Nicanor Ramos got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 19th minute Emanuel Blixt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Javier Rocio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Javier Rocio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Robin Nordström in the 22nd minute of play. Birger Klint sent away a hard shot on goal in the 26th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Benito Cutberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Malcolm Wall having to interfere. Javier Rocio came out of the goal in the 29th minute to try and stop a shot by Pauliström's Robin Nordström. But to his dismay, Robin Nordström quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-3. Benito Cutberto sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Göran Wickander in the 37th minute of play. Emanuel Blixt received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Javier Rocio tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, La Scaloneta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Txaran to maneuver through the defense. Birger Klint struck a weak shot in the 43rd minute. Javier Rocio didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Pauliström. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Emanuel Blixt in the 46th minute of play. 48 minutes into the match, La Scaloneta's goal looked a bit too open when Thor Abrahamsson came free, but Javier Rocio reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuel Blixt to strike the kick off in the second half. La Scaloneta's Javier Rocio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save La Scaloneta from getting a goal against them. Pauliström's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Arne Tham in the 54th minute. Pauliström's Arne Tham was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Javier Rocio in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Benito Cutberto hit a great freekick 55 minutes into the match. In the 58th minute of the match, Emanuel Blixt got a very nice opportunity to score, but Javier Rocio was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. If Benito Cutberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Birger Klint in the 72nd minute of play forced La Scaloneta's goalkeeper Javier Rocio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
