Aron Tholsson kicked well hit freekick during the 3rd minute of the match. 6 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bark came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Malcolm Wall made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ingvar Bark in the 6th minute of play. After 8 played minutes Ekedalen SK got a freekick which was hit by Ingvar Bark. 12 minutes into the match, Pauliström's goal looked a bit too open when Ingvar Bark came free, but Malcolm Wall reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 15th minute Ingvar Bark shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Malcolm Wall saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Ekedalen SK's Alexander Boström got a free kick in the 16th minute. If Göran Wickander had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Elias Rönn in the 21stth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Malcolm Wall, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 23rd match minute, Pauliström was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birger Klint to maneuver through the defense. Stig Rönn could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Malcolm Wall made a huge save. Malcolm Wall showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sten Hagberg, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 28th match minute, Ekedalen SK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Robert Kalfhage to maneuver through the defense. Ekedalen SK's Per Bröms played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robin Nordström in the 35th minute of play. Ekedalen SK were awarded a corner in the 40th minute after Pauliström's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Robert Kalfhage took the corner. The corner led Ekedalen SK's Robert Kalfhage to fire away a dangerous shot which Malcolm Wall despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Per Bröms didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Pauliström's Emanuel Blixt shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-1 in the ordered_time% minute. In the 45th minute, Stig Rönn left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Ekedalen SK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Emanuel Blixt was the one to do the kick off. Pauliström's Malcolm Wall played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sten Hagberg in the 54th minute of play. The supporters of Pauliström booed when Ekedalen SK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Uno Åkesson didn't get a good kick on the ball. Malcolm Wall didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Sten Hagberg went, in the 79th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. Malcolm Wall showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ingvar Bark in the 82nd minute of the match. Emanuel Blixt hit a great freekick 85 minutes into the match. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ingvar Bark in the 89th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Malcolm Wall saved Pauliström from getting behind. Malcolm Wall took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Uno Åkesson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Ekedalen SK fans cheered their team off the field, for while Pauliström had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
