Joaquim Paredes's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Borys Poreda read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 25th minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Joaquim Paredes came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Machados FC V2 were awarded a corner in the 28th minute after Victoria Toruń's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Pascoal Espírito Santo took the corner. An unexpectedly hard shot by Burt Burachek in the 30th minute of play forced Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rodrigo Lima made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zhu Yan Quan in the 32nd minute of play. Remzi Bozlak kicked well hit freekick during the 42nd minute of the match. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Naci Kac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. The audience thought a goal was coming when Naci Kac got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 54th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Grzegorz Piesciuk recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 57th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The throw-in from Ture Springfält in the 62nd minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Machados FC V2's Fernand Joanny. Machados FC V2's Joaquim Paredes got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 张诚昂 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Borys Poreda tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. With an all-out effort, Victoria Toruń's Rodrigo Lima threw himself towards the right post 85 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Burt Burachek, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 87th minute, António Varanda left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Machados FC V2 fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
