In the 23rd minute, Luis Elequemedo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-3 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Alvaro Borel to make the kick off. Beppe Pozzo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Yan Chen Yan in the 51st minute of play. Benedykt Perkowski got a fine position in front of goal ttaking advantage of the opportunity to rumble in 0-4 in the right cross in the 53rd match minute before Beppe Pozzo had time to react. During the 88th minute of the match Achille Carbonetti completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Achille Carbonetti a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. In the 89th match minute, Dexter Morgan VR46 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Achille Carbonetti to maneuver through the defense. Yan Chen Yan took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 90th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Beppe Pozzo. Dexter Morgan VR46's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Luis Elequemedo did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-8 to the left of a surprised Beppe Pozzo 91 minutes into the match.
