Calenzano's Donato Balestra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 26th minute of play. In the 28th minute of the game Antonello Di Toma made a throw-in which Federico Tedeschi played forward. 31 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Iordanis Karatzaferis came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
