Through an outstanding action, after 5 minutes, Josué Rego successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Vicenza 1902's Amos Colagrossi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Amedeo Piermattei in the 12th minute of play. Augusto Costantino hit a great freekick 14 minutes into the match. 19 minutes into the match, L.R. Vicenza 1902's goal looked a bit too open when Oscar Delabarre came free, but Amos Colagrossi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olov Holmberg took the ball and in the 21 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Josué Rego. Josué Rego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. Josué Rego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paşa Palla, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Amedeo Piermattei in the 37th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Amos Colagrossi saved L.R. Vicenza 1902 from getting behind. Josué Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aristides Nel in the 47th minute of the match. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Olov Holmberg was the one to do the kick off. Josué Rego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olov Holmberg in the 55th minute of play. After a rather tough play, L.R. Vicenza 1902's Augusto Costantino got a free kick in the 57th minute. Zola Predosa FC's Hugo Flecken was substituted for Fortunato Marra. In the 62nd minute Hugo Flecken shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Amos Colagrossi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Josué Rego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Paşa Palla in the 66th minute of the match. Josué Rego stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Olov Holmberg's shot from short distance in the 70th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cesare Boldrini in the 73rd minute of play forced Zola Predosa FC's goalkeeper Josué Rego to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a rather tough play, L.R. Vicenza 1902's Murillo Porto got a free kick in the 75th minute. Zola Predosa FC's Fabio Marcantonio was substituted for Andrea Bertolini.
