Fortunato Montini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Alfred Olsson's shot from short distance in the 8th minute. Alfred Olsson in the 10thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Fortunato Montini, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Federico Tedeschi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 24th minute Alfred Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 25 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Maciej Kaznocha came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Calenzano booed when GG Team FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 26 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bernardo Scandella didn't get a good kick on the ball. 27 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alfred Olsson. In the 29th minute of the match Calenzano got a corner. GG Team FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Antonello Di Toma ran over to the corner to take the kick. It was a well-played corner which Alessio Santini managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Donato Balestra showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dave De Bartolo, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. Donato Balestra didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Dave De Bartolo went, in the 40th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. After some fancy dribbling in the 44th minute, Dave De Bartolo managed to get in a good position for a shot. GG Team FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dave De Bartolo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Donato Balestra breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Calenzano's Donato Balestra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dave De Bartolo in the 46th minute of play. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dave De Bartolo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Bernardo Scandella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Donato Balestra saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 58 minutes had been played when some careless play by Calenzano's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Maciej Kaznocha was slow to take the kick. During this time GG Team FC's players had a chance to rest. After 60 played minutes Calenzano got a freekick which was hit by Federico Tedeschi. Federico Tedeschi kicked well hit freekick during the 61st minute of the match. 63 minutes into the match, Calenzano's goal looked a bit too open when Bernardo Scandella came free, but Donato Balestra reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Through an outstanding action, after 67 minutes, Donato Balestra successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Arturo Di Matteo might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Fortunato Montini. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Arturo Di Matteo ran back to his position shaking his head. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Arturo Di Matteo, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. In the 76th match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Elia Guerini to maneuver through the defense. GG Team FC's Stefan Cârstea was substituted for Bernardo Scandella. Elia Guerini hit a great freekick 77 minutes into the match. Donato Balestra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dennis Man, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassan Marcou got free with Donato Balestra in the 83rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Arturo Di Matteo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fortunato Montini having to make a save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arturo Di Matteo in the 85th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A beautiful save bye GG Team FC's goalie prevented a goal. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
