In the 23rd minute, Angelillo Di Maria made a precise shot to the right of Sepp Mainville. Zelg FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. Gilles Clerc could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 29th minute of the match, but Joar Frisck made a huge save. 29 minutes into the game, Barry Baresi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC NORDLAND's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Zelg FC the free kick. In the 30th match minute, FC NORDLAND was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Barry Baresi to maneuver through the defense. The audience thought a goal was coming when Jonas Herz got free with Joar Frisck in the 32nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. After 39 minutes, Angelillo Di Maria mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FC NORDLAND and the Zelg FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Angelillo Di Maria kicked well hit freekick during the 40th minute of the match. 40 minutes into the match, FC NORDLAND's goal looked a bit too open when Jonas Herz came free, but Joar Frisck reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Alan Vides stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Birger Benett hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Jonas Herz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Joar Frisck saved FC NORDLAND from getting behind. 64 minutes into the match, Jonas Herz notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of FC NORDLAND's Joar Frisck. Joar Frisck was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Jonas Herz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 73rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Joar Frisck having to interfere. In the 77th minute the ball was on its way in behind Zelg FC's goalkeeper Sepp Mainville, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The corner led FC NORDLAND's Alex Hernaiz to fire away a dangerous shot which Sepp Mainville despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. In the 83rd minute Jonas Herz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Joar Frisck saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner led Zelg FC's Serge Tomasini to a score. 2-1 in the 86th minute. Sepp Mainville showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Alan Vides, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The Zelg FC fans cheered their team off the field, for while FC NORDLAND had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
