If Federico Tedeschi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 12th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th minute Alfred Olsson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Cristiano Granata saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A.S. Ian Fenomeni's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Edoardo Galeone in the 19th minute. The audience was convinced that Alfred Olsson's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristiano Granata was relentless in the 23rd minute of the game. The corner led Calenzano's Federico Tedeschi to fire away a dangerous shot which Cristiano Granata despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Calenzano getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Filippo Vulcano hit a great ball. In the 44th minute of the match Gandalf Stanković sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Donato Balestra skillfully saved the ball. Donato Balestra showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rodrigue Léonard in the 47th minute of the match.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dino Palmisano to make the kick off. Federico Tedeschi succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 0-2. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alfred Olsson got free with Cristiano Granata in the 61st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Donato Balestra made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rodrigue Léonard in the 62nd minute of play. Alfred Olsson might have been able to make a better finish in the 65th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Cristiano Granata. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Alfred Olsson ran back to his position shaking his head. The crowd rose to their feet as Calenzano's Alfred Olsson slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Cristiano Granata. That made the score 0-3 after 67 minutes of play. Calenzano's Arturo Di Matteo was substituted for Alfred Olsson. A.S. Ian Fenomeni made a substitution. Sven Gauweiler replaced Gani Pamirhan. In the 76th minute Calenzano were awarded a corner. Antonello Di Toma went to the cornerflag to take it. Arturo Di Matteo took the ball and in the 80 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristiano Granata. Cristiano Granata dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-4. A collision led to A.S. Calenzano's Donato Balestra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sven Gauweiler in the 91st minute of play. 92 minutes into the game, Ahmed Sinan was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Calenzano's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.S. Ian Fenomeni the free kick. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dino Palmisano in the 95th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Donato Balestra saved Calenzano from getting behind. Calenzano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
