In the 3rd match minute, Victoria Toruń was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ture Springfält to maneuver through the defense. 4 minutes into the match, Victoria Toruń's goal looked a bit too open when Tivadar Demeter came free, but Borys Poreda reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Tivadar Demeter succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 1-0 in the 5th playminute. 9 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Borys Poreda narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Borys Poreda came out of the goal in the 19th minute to try and stop a shot by Szombathely Squirrels's Tivadar Demeter. But to his dismay, Tivadar Demeter quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Zhu Yan Quan in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Szuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Borys Poreda took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tivadar Demeter, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 27th minute, one of Victoria Toruń:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Victoria Toruń. Borys Poreda had in the 29thth minute some difficulties stopping Tivadar Demeter's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his right side, but he still managed to hold the ball 37 minutes in the game Albertino Lemos did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Burt Burachek. Arnold Szuper stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Zhu Yan Quan's shot from short distance in the 39th minute. The Victoria Toruń fans' excitement grew in the 39th match minute when Victoria Toruń's Zhu Yan Quan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 4-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Naci Kac in the 42nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Arnold Szuper prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After a rather tough play, Szombathely Squirrels's Luciano Aued got a free kick in the 46th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zhu Yan Quan in the 47th minute of play forced Szombathely Squirrels's goalkeeper Arnold Szuper to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 52nd minute Naci Kac shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Naci Kac could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 56th minute of the match, but Arnold Szuper made a huge save. 57 minutes into the match, Szombathely Squirrels's goal looked a bit too open when Zhu Yan Quan came free, but Arnold Szuper reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 57th minute Zhu Yan Quan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Arnold Szuper saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tivadar Demeter recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 60th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The supporters of Szombathely Squirrels booed when Victoria Toruń was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. In the 71st minute, Zhu Yan Quan reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Arnold Szuper. The goal made the score 4-2. After 74 played minutes Victoria Toruń got a freekick which was hit by Dragolyub Dzhahov. When Szombathely Squirrels's Lei Jian Xiong in the 79th minute got a chance for a shot 79th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Victoria Toruń's goalie prevented a goal. Arnold Szuper made a fantastic save in the 81st minute, when Naci Kac sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Victoria Toruń defense, Lei Jian Xiong kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Borys Poreda. The Victoria Toruń fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Borys Poreda should have stopped the shot. Victoria Toruń made a substitution. Lóránd Szarka replaced Benedykt Kluska. Arnold Szuper showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zhu Yan Quan, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Szombathely Squirrels had won after a very even match.
