Rodrigo Lima stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Bernardo Scandella's shot from short distance in the 3rd minute. In the 5th minute of the game Lilian Thuram made a throw-in which Bernardo Scandella played forward. Remzi Bozlak hit a great freekick 5 minutes into the match. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tiger Argoud in the 9th minute of play. 13 minutes into the match, Machados FC V2's goalkeeper Rodrigo Lima had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hassan Marcou. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hassan Marcou got free with Rodrigo Lima in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rodrigo Lima showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Bernardo Scandella, who was totally free with the ball in the 16th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 17th minute, Tiger Argoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machados FC V2's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiger Argoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Montini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Fortunato Montini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tiger Argoud in the 20th minute of the match. Bernardo Scandella who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 23rdth minute tested the skills of Rodrigo Lima when he managed to save the team from getting behind. Fortunato Montini stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Pascoal Espírito Santo's shot from short distance in the 26th minute. Hassan Marcou sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Remzi Bozlak got a free kick in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd minute, GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Rodrigo Lima. Rodrigo Lima yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 2-0. Machados FC V2's Rodrigo Lima proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 40th minute of the match, managed to save Machados FC V2 from getting a goal against them. In the 41st match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassan Marcou to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, Machados FC V2's Hildeberto Cortez got a free kick in the 42nd minute. In the 45th minute Tiger Argoud shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fortunato Montini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Tiger Argoud to make the kick off. In the 63rd minute, Amedeo Alfani hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 64th match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lilian Thuram to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Tiger Argoud managed to get in a good position for a shot. Machados FC V2's supporters rose to their feet, but Tiger Argoud was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fortunato Montini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Pascoal Espírito Santo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 78th minute. Fortunato Montini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. GG Team FC made a substitution. Dave De Bartolo replaced Bernardo Scandella. After having played for 81 minutes, Dave De Bartolo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. GG Team FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dave De Bartolo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Rodrigo Lima showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dave De Bartolo in the 83rd minute of the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dave De Bartolo in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Rodrigo Lima prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 86 minutes of play, Machados FC V2's Pascoal Espírito Santo made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fortunato Montini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Patryk Ulmark hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. It was beautiful to see Machados FC V2's Pascoal Espírito Santo in action when he in the 92nd minute dribbled his way through a couple of opponents and the fired away a shot from almost standing still. First the ball seemed to get in, but turned out to be on the outside of the net. A great chance! In the 94th minute Dave De Bartolo shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Rodrigo Lima saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Dave De Bartolo, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 95 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Rodrigo Lima was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. When the referee blew the final whistle, GG Team FC could leave the field as winners, despite Machados FC V2 having more of the ball for most of the match.
