GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 4th minute of play. After 5 minutes of play, GG Team FC's Hassan Marcou made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Dan Wennerqvist was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fortunato Montini took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hernan Lano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fortunato Montini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hernan Lano in the 10th minute of the match. Lilian Thuram kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s Răzvan Necula sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fortunato Montini narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Răzvan Necula in the 23rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fortunato Montini saved GG Team FC from getting behind. The throw-in from Lilian Thuram in the 29th minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Soroca F.C.'s Gustavo Tartalo. If Răzvan Necula had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Fortunato Montini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Răzvan Necula, who was totally free with the ball in the 29th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 32nd minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Necula recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 33rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Bernardo Scandella in the 35th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Răzvan Necula's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Fortunato Montini read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 45th minute of play forced GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Fortunato Montini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Răzvan Necula in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

When Răzvan Necula came up free with the goalie in the 54th minute, the Soroca F.C. fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Necula couldn't finish the play. With a little luck, GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini got control of the ball when Răzvan Necula tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 62 minutes, Lilian Thuram mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the GG Team FC and the Soroca F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 62 played minutes GG Team FC got a freekick which was hit by Lilian Thuram. In the 63rd match minute, GG Team FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Lilian Thuram to maneuver through the defense. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Godofredo Quilino received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 67th minute. Fortunato Montini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Soroca F.C.'s Ermegildo Itzaina was substituted for Hernan Lano. Adrián Espadass short, quick shot in the 70thth minute got Fortunato Montini to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Patryk Ulmark in the 74th minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 86 minutes into the match, GG Team FC's goalkeeper Fortunato Montini had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ermegildo Itzaina. GG Team FC's Fortunato Montini played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godofredo Quilino in the 88th minute of play. Adrián Espadas could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Fortunato Montini made a huge save. Dino Baggio hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. After a rather tough play, GG Team FC's Dino Baggio got a free kick in the 95th minute. A long shot from Natalio Mazuste in the 96th minute of play was well struck, but Fortunato Montini made a really good save at the right post. The home crowd let out a huge roar when the referee blew for the end of the game. GG Team FC were victorious despite being under pressure from Soroca F.C. for much of the match.
