After some careless play in the Heide FC defense, Stig-Åke Rosendahl kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iwan Dziuma. The Heide FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iwan Dziuma should have stopped the shot. After a rather tough play, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Emil Gierasik got a free kick in the 15th minute. Emil Gierasik kicked well hit freekick during the 25th minute of the match. Stipe Pletikosa was a little too slow when Lázaro Prestes got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 26th minute. The score was now 1-1. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Rosendahl in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Iwan Dziuma prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 30 minutes had been played when some careless play by Heide FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Jorne Van Mellart was slow to take the kick. During this time Fortuna 86 Szczecin's players had a chance to rest. Stipe Pletikosa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Julian Bejrut, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 42 minutes Fortuna 86 Szczecin's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Witold Hodyl who took care of the corner kick. The corner ended in Witold Hodyl almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa did a great save. Iwan Dziuma made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig-Åke Rosendahl in the 46th minute of play. Lázaro Prestes could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Stipe Pletikosa made a huge save. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Julian Bejrut made a kick off. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Stipe Pletikosa played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 50th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Lázaro Prestes in the 51st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Stipe Pletikosa saved Fortuna 86 Szczecin from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Jorne Van Mellart got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Jorne Van Mellart was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iwan Dziuma in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. Heide FC's Juvenal Azevedo was substituted for Kevin Õnnepalu. The throw-in from Leszek Sakowicz in the 71st minute of the game was unfortunally taken care of by Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Nencho Shumarov. Stipe Pletikosa showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lázaro Prestes, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Fortuna 86 Szczecin made a substitution. Roberto Nirvana replaced Stig-Åke Rosendahl. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Julian Bejrut in the 80th minute of play. In the 81st minute of the match Heide FC got a corner. Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Witold Hodyl ran over to the corner to take the kick. Roberto Nirvana sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 85 minutes into the match, Heide FC's goal looked a bit too open when Roberto Nirvana came free, but Iwan Dziuma reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Stipe Pletikosa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lázaro Prestes in the 87th minute of the match. A collision led to Fortuna 86 Szczecin getting a freekick after 91 minutes play. Nencho Shumarov hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lázaro Prestes in the 94th minute of play forced Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 96th match minute, Fortuna 86 Szczecin was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jorne Van Mellart to maneuver through the defense. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Fortuna 86 Szczecin walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
