Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Stig-Åke Rosendahl in the 21st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Radowit Lichorobiec prevented the ball from getting in the gole. An unexpectedly hard shot by Stig-Åke Rosendahl in the 30th minute of play forced FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s goalkeeper Radowit Lichorobiec to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 31st minute Fortuna 86 Szczecin were awarded a corner. Nencho Shumarov went to the cornerflag to take it. It was a well-played corner which Stig-Åke Rosendahl managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Manoel Lopes in the 38th minute of play. Stig-Åke Rosendahl's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Radowit Lichorobiec read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. Nencho Shumarov fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Radowit Lichorobiec having to interfere. In the 46thth minute of the game Stig-Åke Rosendahl who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S.'s Radowit Lichorobiec was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

Stipe Pletikosa made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Boleslaw Przybyciel in the 60th minute of play. In the 64th minute FC Grom Wolsztyn K.S. were awarded a corner.
