Bociany SA's Boban Fett managed to work through Fortuna 86 Szczecin's defense and was going for an easy goal, but he hit the shot with his toe and the ball flew outside the goal. Boban Fett dejectedly held out his arms as if to ask why the ball hadn't gone in. Stipe Pletikosa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Anselmo Ganix in the 12th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anselmo Ganix got free with Stipe Pletikosa in the 14th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 16 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goal looked a bit too open when Adam Harendarski came free, but Stipe Pletikosa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 18th minute Harun Mengüer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Genzo Wakabayashi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Harun Mengüer in the 18th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Genzo Wakabayashi saved Bociany SA from getting behind. The corner ended in Gustaw Niewiadomski almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Bociany SA's Genzo Wakabayashi did a great save. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Fortuna 86 Szczecin's Gustaw Niewiadomski looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Daniel Gerlach might have been able to make a better finish in the 29th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Stipe Pletikosa. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Daniel Gerlach ran back to his position shaking his head. Bociany SA's Genzo Wakabayashi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Harun Mengüer in the 35th minute of play. 38 minutes into the match, Fortuna 86 Szczecin's goalkeeper Stipe Pletikosa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Adam Harendarski. In the 43rd minute, Eugeniusz Rzeszutko hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The supporters of Fortuna 86 Szczecin booed when Bociany SA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 97 match minutes in a wonderful position. Anselmo Ganix didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Fortuna 86 Szczecin supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fortuna 86 Szczecin would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
