Froilan Reyes might have been able to make a better finish in the 27th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Anton Björnberg. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Vatan Enfals short, quick shot in the 29thth minute got Gumersindo Moreira to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. In the 94th minute Richard Parker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Anton Björnberg saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Boomer Fc eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
