The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The Soroca F.C. fans' excitement grew in the 6th match minute when Soroca F.C.'s Adrián Espadas looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 9 minutes into the match, Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Alejo Lehior. In the 11th minute Alejo Lehior shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Wennerqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Soroca F.C. booed when Forros Fantásticos AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marius Sagen didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Răzvan Necula in the 14th minute of play forced Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Octavio Marcones fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 17th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Wennerqvist having to interfere. Robustiano Cordareo showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adrián Espadas in the 19th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavio Marcones in the 22nd minute of play forced Soroca F.C.'s goalkeeper Dan Wennerqvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Adrián Espadas's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Robustiano Cordareo read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 27th minute of play. Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Necula in the 30th minute of play. Robustiano Cordareo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zézinho Neiva in the 30th minute of play. Dan Wennerqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octavio Marcones, who was totally free with the ball in the 35th minute. With a little luck, Soroca F.C.'s Dan Wennerqvist got control of the ball when Marius Sagen tried to sneak it across the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adrián Espadas in the 42nd minute of play forced Forros Fantásticos AC's goalkeeper Robustiano Cordareo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Robustiano Cordareo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Adrián Espadas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Forros Fantásticos AC's Robustiano Cordareo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adrián Espadas in the 42nd minute of play. In the 44th minute Adrián Espadas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Robustiano Cordareo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Robustiano Cordareo stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Adrián Espadas's shot from short distance in the 46th minute. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Adrián Espadas made a kick off. Robustiano Cordareo made a fantastic save in the 52nd minute, when Adrián Espadas sent off a good shot on target. In the 54th minute, Amador Venceslao hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Robustiano Cordareo was a little too slow when Adrián Espadas got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 58th minute. The score was now 0-2. Norberto Liberato kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. After 68 minutes Soroca F.C.'s defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Romeo Nabar who took care of the corner kick. Forros Fantásticos AC made a substitution. Candido Artaldo replaced Filip Geambașu. In the 72nd minute Forros Fantásticos AC were awarded a corner. Romeo Nabar went to the cornerflag to take it. After taking down the ball on Forros Fantásticos AC's corner Romeo Nabar fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Dan Wennerqvist quite easily take care of the ball. 76 minutes into the match, Forros Fantásticos AC's goal looked a bit too open when Adrián Espadas came free, but Robustiano Cordareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Amador Venceslao's late challenge caught a Forros Fantásticos AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Amador Venceslao helped the player get up and apologised. In the 77th match minute, Soroca F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Amador Venceslao to maneuver through the defense. After 78 played minutes Soroca F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Amador Venceslao. After 80 played minutes Forros Fantásticos AC got a freekick which was hit by Marius Sagen. Paolo Librado hit a great freekick 81 minutes into the match. After a defensive mix-up in Soroca F.C.'s zone, Alejo Lehior stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Wennerqvist came out of the goal and Alejo Lehior tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alejo Lehior struck a weak shot in the 85th minute. Dan Wennerqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Forros Fantásticos AC. When Alejo Lehior came up free with the goalie in the 87th minute, the Forros Fantásticos AC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alejo Lehior couldn't finish the play. Dan Wennerqvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Godofredo Quintana in the 89th minute of the match. 91 minutes had been played when some careless play by Soroca F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Romeo Nabar was slow to take the kick. During this time Forros Fantásticos AC's players had a chance to rest. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Soroca F.C. eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
