Xander Goos stood somewhat misplaced when Gerardo Hitz came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 9 minute. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Sebastian Enekoitz got a free kick in the 12th minute. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Shen Sang Hao in the 13th minute of play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Shen Sang Hao in the 23rd minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gianpaolo Lovera in the 24th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Karl-Johan Ahlqvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience was convinced that Gianpaolo Lovera's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist was relentless in the 25th minute of the game. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez hit a great ball. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Gianpaolo Lovera's shot from short distance in the 29th minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gianpaolo Lovera in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saved Black Rose 1979 from getting behind. After a rather tough play, Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s Shen Sang Hao got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 37th minute Gianpaolo Lovera shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Black Rose 1979 defense, Gianpaolo Lovera kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist. The Black Rose 1979 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Karl-Johan Ahlqvist should have stopped the shot. Black Rose 1979 were awarded a corner in the 41th minute after Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sebastian Enekoitz took the corner. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Gianpaolo Lovera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist came out of the goal and Gianpaolo Lovera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gianpaolo Lovera made a kick off. A collision led to Black Rose 1979 getting a freekick after 54 minutes play. Enzo-Nicolás Pérez hit a great ball. Carlos Leão struck a weak shot in the 55th minute. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Tarrasque Voador F.C.. Tarrasque Voador F.C. made a substitution. Cosmin Enigărescu replaced Napoleon Furgal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Shen Sang Hao, who was totally free with the ball in the 59th minute. 70 minutes into the match, Black Rose 1979's goalkeeper Karl-Johan Ahlqvist had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Shen Sang Hao. The audience thought a goal was coming when Shen Sang Hao got free with Karl-Johan Ahlqvist in the 72nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Leite in the 73rd minute of play. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 75th minute, when Shen Sang Hao sent off a good shot on target. Shen Sang Hao could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 77th minute of the match, but Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a huge save. Gerardo Hitz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Xander Goos having to interfere. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emanuel Leite in the 83rd minute of play. In the 90th minute, Dráusio Albuquerque hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 92 minutes had been played when some careless play by Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Sebastian Enekoitz was slow to take the kick. During this time Black Rose 1979's players had a chance to rest. Emanuel Leite received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist came out and tried to block the shot, but Emanuel Leite slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 94th minute. Tarrasque Voador F.C.'s supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
