Gumersindo Moreira made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Isidro Gines in the 16th minute of play. After having played for 18 minutes, Pastor Ado managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Edmond Verdun took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Froilan Reyes, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 39 minutes into the game, Victorino Sandalio cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Gumersindo Moreira was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. When the referee blew the final whistle jeers and boos were heard from the home team's supporters. They were angered to see Errecaborda AFC lose a match they had controlled from the kick-off.
