Perico Raya showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Davor Šuker in the 4th minute of the match. 4 minutes into the match, Davor Šuker notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of CD Boiro's Perico Raya. Perico Raya was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Sidney Pontes in the 12th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Hitz in the 13th minute of play forced CD Boiro's goalkeeper Perico Raya to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sebastian Enekoitz struck a weak shot in the 15th minute. Perico Raya didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Black Rose 1979. After a rather tough play, Black Rose 1979's Elias Palos got a free kick in the 18th minute. When CD Boiro's Sidney Pontes in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Black Rose 1979's goalie prevented a goal. Qiao Qing Xiao scored 1-1 in the 23rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Karl-Johan Ahlqvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Zeng Yong in the 25th minute of play. When Black Rose 1979's Gerardo Hitz in the 28th minute got a chance for a shot 28th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Boiro's goalie prevented a goal. Waldemar Matorin kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match. In the 39th minute CD Boiro were awarded a corner. Andoitz Arias went to the cornerflag to take it. Andoitz Arias made a great header on CD Boiro's corner, it was just that Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist managed to reach the ball for a save. The supporters of CD Boiro booed when Black Rose 1979 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gerardo Hitz didn't get a good kick on the ball. The Black Rose 1979 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. CD Boiro were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gerardo Hitz to make the kick off. Black Rose 1979's Karl-Johan Ahlqvist proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 52nd minute of the match, managed to save Black Rose 1979 from getting a goal against them. Perico Raya took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Waldemar Matorin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist made a fantastic save in the 59th minute, when Zeng Yong sent off a good shot on target. After a rather tough play, CD Boiro's Zeng Yong got a free kick in the 61st minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Hitz in the 62nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perico Raya saved CD Boiro from getting behind. Waldemar Matorin took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Perico Raya. Perico Raya dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gerardo Hitz in the 69th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Perico Raya saved CD Boiro from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in Black Rose 1979's zone, Qiao Qing Xiao stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Johan Ahlqvist came out of the goal and Qiao Qing Xiao tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 75th minute Davor Šuker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Black Rose 1979's Davor Šuker in the 77th minute got a chance for a shot 77th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye CD Boiro's goalie prevented a goal. In the 80th minute Gerardo Hitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Perico Raya saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 94th minute, Enzo-Nicolás Pérez ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Perico Raya was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-2. CD Boiro's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
