Spectators: 41 (Terracing: 32, Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mariano Lacasa took the kick off in the first half of the match. Daniel Păvăloae made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Orlando Casaus in the 3rd minute of play. A hard shot 8 in the game by Eloy Gaufred from a close distance when the talented Thiago Pliego managed to make a qualified save. Chile's players were relieved. In the 14th minute of the game Timoteo Gorosti made a throw-in which Eloy Gaufred played forward. After a rather tough play, Metal Juniors's Leopoldo Itzaina got a free kick in the 18th minute. Daniel Păvăloae took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pedro Indiano, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 23 minutes into the match, Chile's goalkeeper Thiago Pliego had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eloy Gaufred. Leopoldo Itzaina could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 39th minute of the match, but Thiago Pliego made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Francisco Carballar in the 41st minute of play forced Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Daniel Păvăloae to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 43rd minute Nicolas Napier shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Thiago Pliego saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 45 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Jonatan Dantae. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

After 52 played minutes Metal Juniors got a freekick which was hit by Antonio Eyague. Thiago Pliego made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Eloy Gaufred in the 54th minute of play. In the 57th minute of the match Chile got a corner. Metal Juniors's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Mariano Lacasa ran over to the corner to take the kick. A well-hit corner resulted in Pedro Indiano heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Francisco Carballar in the 59th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Daniel Păvăloae saved Metal Juniors from getting behind. When Xavier Figueroa came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Chile fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Xavier Figueroa couldn't finish the play. Sergio Dennis took the ball and in the 67 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. With a little luck, Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Daniel Păvăloae made a fantastic save in the 78th minute, when Mariano Lacasa sent off a good shot on target. In the 80th minute the ball was on its way in behind Metal Juniors's goalkeeper Daniel Păvăloae, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 81 minutes into the match, Metal Juniors's Haroldo Nayely sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Thiago Pliego narrowly saved just below the crossbar. With a little luck, Metal Juniors's Daniel Păvăloae got control of the ball when Mariano Lacasa tried to sneak it across the goal line. Mariano Lacasa sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Thiago Pliego showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Reinaldo Castro in the 91st minute of the match. Thiago Pliego took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Reinaldo Castro, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 94 minutes into the match, Sergio Dennis notched a goal, 2-2, to the right of Chile's Thiago Pliego. Thiago Pliego was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Both teams had looked equal from kick-off, and no-one was surprised when the match finally ended in a draw.
