Palben Ahijado could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 8th minute of the match, but Aristides Loren made a huge save. Eliazar Pumeral kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. A collision led to TITO FC getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Hartz Suso hit a great ball. When the match had gone on for 26 minutes, Guilherme Zurbano took a quick shot and it went in 1-0 without a chance for Aristides Loren to make any attempt to save it. After having played for 35 minutes, Abel Iaki managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Wachipatos de Mataderos's supporters crossed their fingers, but Abel Iaki was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. TITO FC's Andrew Ezcurra played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Rolando Suarez in the 37th minute of play. Andrew Ezcurra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rolando Suarez, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 37 minutes, Palben Ahijado mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the TITO FC and the Wachipatos de Mataderos players grew even worse after the yellow card. Palben Ahijado hit a great freekick 38 minutes into the match. An unexpected shot in the 43rd minute by Guilherme Zurbano got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Aristides Loren showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eliazar Pumeral, who was totally free with the ball in the 51st minute. A collision led to TITO FC getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Lizer Espindola hit a great ball. Wachipatos de Mataderos made a substitution. Rene Patxi replaced Jeremias Esdras. Rene Patxi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Andrew Ezcurra made an important save on a dangerous shot by Abel Iaki in the 82nd minute. With an all-out effort, Wachipatos de Mataderos's Andrew Ezcurra threw himself towards the right post 83 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Rene Patxi, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. Andrew Ezcurra took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rene Patxi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aristides Loren made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Guilherme Zurbano in the 88th minute of play. Rene Patxi received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Andrew Ezcurra came out and tried to block the shot, but Rene Patxi slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 89th minute. Abel Iaki who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 94thth minute tested the skills of Andrew Ezcurra when he managed to save the team from getting behind.

The players didn't get much rest, but they still tried to pep each other up as they lined up for the first half in overtime. Wachipatos de Mataderos's Abel Iaki started the play with his kick off. Rene Patxi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 102nd minute. Andrew Ezcurra tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 104 minutes, Rene Patxi put it in 2-3 from a short distance just to the right of Andrew Ezcurra. The Wachipatos de Mataderos supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Wachipatos de Mataderos would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
