Spectators: 44 (Terracing: 34, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Jaime Pardo got the match started through his kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tommy Salerno in the 5th minute of play forced Paraguay's goalkeeper Jacobo Nores to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Giorgio Bajada hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Jacobo Nores showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kenneth Mugliett, who was totally free with the ball in the 22nd minute. Jacobo Nores took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kenneth Mugliett, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jaime Pardo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Neville Bajada tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jaime Pardo struck a weak shot in the 30th minute. Neville Bajada didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Paraguay. With his leg Jacobo Nores managed to avoid a goal in the 34thth minute, when Calderon Stars's Kenneth Mugliett fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Tommy Salerno could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 41st minute of the match, but Jacobo Nores made a huge save. After having played for 44 minutes, Kenneth Mugliett managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderon Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Mugliett was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Kenneth Mugliett received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 46th minute. Jacobo Nores tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Kenneth Mugliett got free with Jacobo Nores in the 47th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

Jacobo Nores made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tommy Salerno in the 58th minute of play. If Hector Covarrubias had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Mugliett scored 1-0 in the 66th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Jacobo Nores, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Jaime Pardo hit a great freekick 70 minutes into the match. After having played for 78 minutes, Tommy Salerno managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Calderon Stars's supporters crossed their fingers, but Tommy Salerno was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Alan Campos during the 80th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 81 played minutes, Calderon Stars's Nicholas Laus shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Jacobo Nores came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Calderon Stars reached it. After a rather tough play, Calderon Stars's Joseph Montanaro got a free kick in the 82nd minute. 83 minutes into the match, Calderon Stars's goalkeeper Neville Bajada had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Jaime Pardo. In the 84th minute of the match Paraguay got a corner. Calderon Stars's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Jaime Pardo ran over to the corner to take the kick. After taking down the ball on Paraguay's corner Juan Diego Tenorio fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Neville Bajada quite easily take care of the ball. Tommy Salerno fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jacobo Nores having to interfere. 87 minutes into the match, Paraguay's goal looked a bit too open when Tommy Salerno came free, but Jacobo Nores reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 90th minute Kenneth Mugliett shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jacobo Nores saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Paraguay's zone, Tommy Salerno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Jacobo Nores came out of the goal and Tommy Salerno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Calderon Stars's Kenneth Mugliett got a good chance for a goal in the 94th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Calderon Stars's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
