Anastasios Lazos kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. After 19 played minutes Pyrgetos FC got a freekick which was hit by Paris Kaloxilos. After 23 played minutes Pyrgetos FC got a freekick which was hit by Diogenis Kostiadis. Sakis Manousos could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 24th minute of the match, but Iordanis Batsidis made a huge save. With a little luck, Pyrgetos FC's Iordanis Batsidis got control of the ball when Sakis Manousos tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 26 minutes, Diogenis Kostiadis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Pyrgetos FC and the AEK S.C players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee ignored Pyrgetos FC's protests and gave Giotis Tsalikis a yellow card for diving instead. After 53 played minutes, AEK S.C's Omiros Argyriou shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Iordanis Batsidis came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. The goalkeeper, Miltos Kyriazis, was totally fooled by Pyrgetos FC's Alketas Papantoniou, who 58 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. With a little luck, AEK S.C's Miltos Kyriazis got control of the ball when Charis Chaniotakis tried to sneak it across the goal line. The shot was stopped by Miltos Kyriazis but with some difficulty. 85 minutes into the game, Prodromos Banasopoulos was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. AEK S.C's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Pyrgetos FC the free kick. After 85 played minutes AEK S.C got a freekick which was hit by Prodromos Banasopoulos. Giotis Tsalikis's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Miltos Kyriazis firmly grabbed it by the left post. When Paavali Haabegaard fell near the penalty area in the 90th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
