Cristoforo Basso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mikolaj Ratulowski took the ball and in the 5 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Cristoforo Basso. Cristoforo Basso dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. In the 12th minute, Robbin De Ruyter left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zero Gravity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-4. In the 15th minute, Jacobus Sommers made a precise shot to the right of Cristoforo Basso. As Melfi 1929's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-5. An unexpectedly hard shot by Januário Quinaz in the 18th minute of play forced As Melfi 1929's goalkeeper Cristoforo Basso to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 19thth minute of the game Robbin De Ruyter who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. After a defensive mix-up in As Melfi 1929's zone, Robbin De Ruyter stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cristoforo Basso came out of the goal and Robbin De Ruyter tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Filiberto Bernebe sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 24 minutes into the game, Zero Gravity's Robbin De Ruyter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Basso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-6. Cristoforo Basso took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabrijel Sandalj, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Robbin De Ruyter in the 31st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Cristoforo Basso prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Cristoforo Basso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Robbin De Ruyter's shot from short distance in the 33rd minute. The audience was convinced that Robbin De Ruyter's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cristoforo Basso was relentless in the 33rd minute of the game. After 36 minutes of play, Zero Gravity's Mikolaj Ratulowski made it 0-8 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cristoforo Basso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 42nd minute, Jacobus Sommers ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cristoforo Basso was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-9. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-10 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dino Iovine made a kick off. 55 minutes into the match, As Melfi 1929's goal looked a bit too open when Robbin De Ruyter came free, but Cristoforo Basso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 55 minutes into the game, Zero Gravity's Robbin De Ruyter nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Cristoforo Basso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-11. After some careless play in the As Melfi 1929 defense, Jacobus Sommers kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristoforo Basso. The As Melfi 1929 fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristoforo Basso should have stopped the shot. Cristoforo Basso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robbin De Ruyter, who was totally free with the ball in the 62nd minute. In the 65th minute, Mikolaj Ratulowski left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Zero Gravity fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-13. Zero Gravity's Robbin De Ruyter was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 70th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After 73 played minutes Zero Gravity got a freekick which was hit by Januário Quinaz. If Mikolaj Ratulowski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. As Melfi 1929's Cristoforo Basso played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Robbin De Ruyter in the 76th minute of play. Cristoforo Basso showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Filiberto Bernebe in the 77th minute of the match. After 79 minutes As Melfi 1929's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Matías Roganov who took care of the corner kick. Cristoforo Basso was a little too slow when Januário Quinaz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 84th minute. The score was now 0-16. Cristoforo Basso made a fantastic save in the 88th minute, when Jacobus Sommers sent off a good shot on target. In the 95th minute, Januário Quinaz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 96 played minutes Zero Gravity got a freekick which was hit by Stanny Smekens. Zero Gravity's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
