Jeremias Silban took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Kutlay Yuvakuran. Kutlay Yuvakuran dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. The supporters of Average Joes booed when Yeşilköyspor was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 9 match minutes in a wonderful position. Hüseyin Akbulut didn't get a good kick on the ball. Average Joes were awarded a corner in the 13th minute after Yeşilköyspor's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Kasper Bodin took the corner. Kasper Bodin made a great header on Average Joes's corner, it was just that Yeşilköyspor's Kutlay Yuvakuran managed to reach the ball for a save. Yeşilköyspor's Kutlay Yuvakuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Silban in the 15th minute of play. Yavuz Bülent Özger hit a great freekick 17 minutes into the match. After 20 played minutes Yeşilköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Ceyhan Tun. An unexpectedly hard shot by Arthur Saba in the 27th minute of play forced Yeşilköyspor's goalkeeper Kutlay Yuvakuran to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 29 minutes into the match, Jeremias Silban had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Kutlay Yuvakuran. Yeşilköyspor's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Jeremias Silban was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-2. Yeşilköyspor's Kutlay Yuvakuran played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jeremias Silban in the 35th minute of play. Jeremias Silban struck a weak shot in the 39th minute. Kutlay Yuvakuran didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Average Joes. 47 minutes into the match, Yeşilköyspor's goal looked a bit too open when Yavuz Bülent Özger came free, but Kutlay Yuvakuran reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Average Joes made a substitution. Nils-Emil Gulliksson replaced Lukas Bäckman. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Erol Sebat to make the kick off. In the 57th minute, Jeremias Silban reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Kutlay Yuvakuran. The goal made the score 0-4. A collision led to Yeşilköyspor getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mehdi İlke hit a great ball. When Kasper Bodin came up free with the goalie in the 62nd minute, the Average Joes fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Kasper Bodin couldn't finish the play. Erol Sebat received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Victoriano Abel tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 67 played minutes Average Joes got a freekick which was hit by Matthias Liljeström. After a rather tough play, Yeşilköyspor's Erol Sebat got a free kick in the 69th minute. Erol Sebat kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. In the 71st minute of the match Kasper Bodin sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Kutlay Yuvakuran skillfully saved the ball. A collision led to Yeşilköyspor getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Aziz Erçelik hit a great ball. Average Joes's Kasper Bodin got a good chance for a goal in the 73rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Arthur Saba in the 75th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Kutlay Yuvakuran saved Yeşilköyspor from getting behind. Uygur Celvet kicked well hit freekick during the 76th minute of the match. Uygur Celvet charged in rather forcefully in the 79th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Uygur Celvet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 79 played minutes Yeşilköyspor got a freekick which was hit by Uygur Celvet. Arthur Saba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 80th minute. Kutlay Yuvakuran tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 82nd minute, Average Joes's Arthur Saba dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 85th minute, Average Joes's Arthur Saba ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Kutlay Yuvakuran. Kutlay Yuvakuran yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-6. 97 minutes into the game, Average Joes's Yavuz Bülent Özger nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Kutlay Yuvakuran made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-7. The Yeşilköyspor fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Average Joes were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
