Theagenis Kaliakoudis's late challenge caught a Amelie FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Theagenis Kaliakoudis helped the player get up and apologised. Theagenis Kaliakoudis kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. Iordanis Batsidis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Simon Txaran, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. After some careless play in the Pyrgetos FC defense, Aurelio Rubio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iordanis Batsidis. The Pyrgetos FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iordanis Batsidis should have stopped the shot. After 37 played minutes Amelie FC got a freekick which was hit by Aurelio Rubio. Nicolas Matthew fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordanis Batsidis having to interfere.

The wind increased when Aurelio Rubio made the kick off in the second half. In the 59th minute Santiago Gabon shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iordanis Batsidis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicolas Matthew had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
