In the 43rd minute, Göksel Esenboğa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristoforo Basso stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mehmet Özdilek's shot from short distance in the 45th minute. The As Melfi 1929 players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Gold Raiders FC were winning 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Domenico Cruciani made a kick off. Mehmet Özdilek sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Gold Raiders FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
