After 5 played minutes Highway to Hell got a freekick which was hit by Pavlos Oustabasidis. 8 minutes into the match, Özgür Akbora notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Highway to Hell's Charilaos Katevatis. Charilaos Katevatis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Stergios Klinakis during the 11th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Gold Raiders FC booed when Highway to Hell was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stergios Klinakis didn't get a good kick on the ball. The long shot by Asaf Dirican in the 12th minute really tested Charilaos Katevatis's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 14 minutes into the game, Özgür Akbora cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-0. Charilaos Katevatis was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Menelaos Alexopoulos had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 26th match minute, Highway to Hell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Alexandros Filippas to maneuver through the defense. In the 34th minute Trifon Pergaminos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Resul Yalın saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Charilaos Katevatis made a fantastic save in the 39th minute, when Mehmet Özdilek sent off a good shot on target. The audience was convinced that Menelaos Alexopoulos's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Resul Yalın was relentless in the 43rd minute of the game. In the 44th match minute, Gold Raiders FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mehmet Özdilek to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Göksel Esenboğa was the one to do the kick off. In the 53rd minute, Özgür Akbora ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charilaos Katevatis was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Göksel Esenboğa charged in rather forcefully in the 59th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Göksel Esenboğa the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Gold Raiders FC's Göksel Esenboğa got a free kick in the 59th minute. In the 62nd minute, Mehmet Özdilek ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Charilaos Katevatis was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-0. Charilaos Katevatis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Özdilek in the 66th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Highway to Hell's Menelaos Alexopoulos got a free kick in the 67th minute. Charilaos Katevatis didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Özgür Akbora went, in the 69th minute, to the upper right corner, 6-0 was the resulting score. After 79 played minutes Gold Raiders FC got a freekick which was hit by Asaf Dirican. Charilaos Katevatis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Mehmet Özdilek in the 84th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mehmet Özdilek in the 88th minute of play forced Highway to Hell's goalkeeper Charilaos Katevatis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Resul Yalın showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Vassilis Agathiou, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. Highway to Hell's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
