Zero Gravity's Jorge Caetano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Jo Blanchaert in the 5th minute of play. Victoriano Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Wawrzyniec Iwanowski in the 7th minute of play. In the 8thth minute of the game Wawrzyniec Iwanowski who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Average Joes's Victoriano Abel was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Jorge Caetano made an important save on a dangerous shot by Per Rolandsson in the 14th minute. 16 minutes into the match, Wawrzyniec Iwanowski notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Average Joes's Victoriano Abel. Victoriano Abel was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Victoriano Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Bob De Loose, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Jorge Caetano made a fantastic save in the 26th minute, when Jo Blanchaert sent off a good shot on target. The first half was very even, with the score at 1-1 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

In the 50th minute Mikolaj Ratulowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Victoriano Abel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Wawrzyniec Iwanowski in the 52nd minute of play forced Average Joes's goalkeeper Victoriano Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jorge Caetano showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Yavuz Bülent Özger, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. After a rather tough play, Zero Gravity's Filip Tzenov got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Yavuz Bülent Özger kicked well hit freekick during the 94th minute of the match.
